Corrosion Protection

NOVARES resins and RUETASOLV products have a very hydrophobic, aromatic structure that significantly increases the resistance to moisture and aqueous media in civil engineering structures and corrosion protection systems. Modified epoxy systems show significantly better performance under severe environmental conditions than unmodified formulations (e.g., in the offshore sector). Because of their positive properties, the modifiers can typically extend the life of the formulation while providing increased surface protection.
